7th Grade Science Fair

We want to wish our Science Fair winners, Jack Dempsey and Jonathan Luaisa, Kaiden Lapp, and Gia Smith, the best of luck this weekend as well! They’re on their way to the Regional Science Fair on Saturday, March 22nd! Thank you to Mrs. Flanagan for all her work and guidance with these students and their projects. Good Luck!!

PTO Family Movie Night

Tonight is Family Movie Night!The doors open at 5:30 – the movie starts at 6! Thank you to the PTO for putting together this fun event! Concession stands will be open and raffle tickets will be available for purchase towards the baskets. So pack up your pillows and blankets and come join in the fun!

Foundation Pork Fundraiser

The Ladd Foundation Pork Tenderloin Fundraiser is this Monday! Support our school by coming down to the Moose for a delicious dinner and fun with our community! Orders for pick-up or carry-out available! We can't wait to see you there!

5Essentials Survey

Every year, ISBE requires all school districts to distribute the 5Essentials Survey to students, staff, and parents. We must have a minimum 20% of our parents respond to the survey. Currently, we have heard from 5%.

Please help our district by taking 10 minutes of your time to fill out the 2024-2025 5Essentials Survey for Ladd School. We greatly appreciate your time and support!

IAR Assessment Week

Every spring, school districts in Illinois are required to administer the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) to students in grades 3 through 8. The IAR is the state accountability measure for students to show growth and proficiency on the Illinois Learning Standards in English Language Arts and Math. Scores are reported as part of the accountability system on the Illinois School Report Card.

IAR week will begin on Monday, March 31! Watch for updates from your child's teacher and help your child be rested and ready to show us what they can do!
